What’s the AI allowance?
Every plan includes all our AI — this one really is every plan, Solo too. The little everyday AI — like client summaries — is always on and unlimited. For the heavier AI (writing your campaigns, answering questions about your numbers), each plan includes a monthly amount of usage: $3, $8, $15, or $28 worth.
If you ever use it all, the AI simply pauses until next month — nothing breaks — and you can upgrade or add a little more anytime. No credits, no surprise bills. You’re always in control.

Is everything really included on the Starter plan?
Yes. From Starter up, every plan comes with the entire platform and all the AI. You only choose your size — staff count, monthly AI allowance, and whether you run more than one location. No feature gates, no add-on maze. Solo is the one exception, and only where it can’t apply: with no employees there’s no payroll to run, no shifts to clock and no tips to pool, so those tools start at Starter.
What happens when my 30 days are up?
You pick a plan — or you don’t, and nothing gets charged, because we never took a card. Your data stays yours either way: keep going, export everything, or walk away. No auto-billing surprise on day 31.
What do card payments cost?
Standard Stripe processing, and nothing on top from us — we take a 0% platform fee on every plan. You see the exact rate in the app before you ever take a payment. No monthly minimums, no statement mysteries, no separate processor to shop for.
What happens if I run out of AI?
The everyday AI — like client briefs — is always on and never runs out. Only the heavier AI (writing campaigns, answering questions about your numbers) draws from your monthly allowance. If you use it all, that heavier AI simply pauses until next month — nothing else stops — and you can upgrade or top up anytime. No surprise bills.
Do you charge extra for texting or email?
No markup. You pay the true carrier cost, passed straight through — no “credits,” no marked-up bundles. It’s one of the ways we keep pricing honest.
Can you move my data from my current software?
Yes — whatever you use now, we move your clients, appointments, and history for you, free. You can even keep your current tool running until you’re sure.
Do I need special hardware?
No. RewireBox runs on any Mac, PC, or iPad, and a card reader is optional — you only need one if you want to take chip and tap in person.
Is there a contract?
No. Billing is month to month, and you can cancel anytime. Your data is always yours to export.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
There's no annual plan, and that's deliberate: month to month means we have to earn the next month. One price, no lock-in, cancel whenever you like.
How long does it take to get set up?
Setup is an afternoon, not a project. Our AI setup wizard fills in your settings from a conversation and we handle the migration for you, so the work on your side is measured in minutes.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime, up or down. As your salon grows, your plan grows with it — no penalties.
Can I run more than one location?
Yes — the Scale plan covers multi-location, with no per-location fee. One account, every location’s calendar, staff, and numbers in one place.
Do you work in Canada?
Yes — across nine provinces and all three territories. Quebec is the one exception for now: its French-language and privacy requirements are a body of work we would rather do properly than half-do, so we are not taking Quebec salons yet. Prices are billed in USD.
Is my data safe?
Your salon’s data is isolated at the database level, encrypted in transit, and backed up — and it’s always yours to export, in full, whenever you like. Card details never touch our servers; Stripe holds those. The details are on our Security page.
